Ewa particularly loves plants. Leaves, grass, straw, lime tree bark, thin birch branches - this is the stuff her art is made of.

Ewa tried for a year to cover the delicate mesh of leaf nerves with gold without destroying them, then had success with a single leaf she had prepared which was first covered with a thin coat of copper and then gold. The result was a mini sculpture of a very fine work, light and durable. It contained a single piece of plant - the backbone of its form. Having made several such golden leaves, she had the idea to use them for her jewellery, coupling them into necklaces and bracelets and using single leaves for rings.
