Stephanie Ray has taken inspiration from the Japanese to create the ‘bamboo’ collection. Bamboo is used widely in Asia and around the world for applications as diverse as building houses to making flutes, it is also an extremely durable and ecologically sustainable material. Japanese art and architecture echo her own love of simple lines and clean forms as well as a love of plantlife.

In this collection she has used the natural patterns found in cross-sections of bamboo surrounded by contrasting silver frames and silhouettes of plants including Japanese fir and cherry blossom.’
